PRE-APPOINTMENT Info

Before your first session, I will send a document for you to read and sign electronically (via DocuSign). The majority of that document is detailed below. I believe it is really important for my clients to understand what to expect, so I encourage you to read this thoroughly and please ask me any questions that arise.

Client Readiness

The primary way a client can be ready is to be open:  open to guidance, open to information coming through in a way you may not expect and open to deeper healing.

I find that clients who come in really skeptical or fixated/grasping for information to come through in a specific way usually don’t open up to actually receive what our guides/loved ones want to communicate.

If you are skeptical, please call me before the reading so we can chat.  I am guided not to see people who show up to be proven wrong because it doesn’t matter what comes through, they are not in a space to be receptive.

If you are grasping for a very specific outcome (e.g. if you are supposed to leave a marriage, buy a specific house, etc), I always let people know that our guides usually want to get to the root of the issue and address the healing that is underway before talking about specific, day-to-day nuances.  It isn’t that these things don’t get addressed, but it is encouraged to be open to the guidance being deeper.

Most times the healing of old wounds and traumas is what the guides/loved ones want to address.

About Bringing A Friend/Partner

I have had some people ask if they can bring their partner or friend sit in on their individual reading.  I prefer clients who have scheduled an individual reading to come by herself/himself.

You may think of this in the same way you’d approach individual therapy.  It would not be comfortable to bring a friend or family member into your private therapy session.  Of course, the energy changes if the therapy session is meant to address the two of you together.

Another reason for this is that I have found some people are trying to manage or make comfortable the experience of the person they’ve brought with them.  In these cases, they are not able to relax and receive.

Who Is Talking?

I receive messages from loved ones who have passed as well as information from Guides/a Higher Power (essentially a loving force that is bigger than us and shows up differently for each person).

Loved Ones’ Communication Styles:

I have found that just as we who are in our bodies have different levels of articulation, this is also true for those who have passed.  Some are very clear communicators and others are not as clear (I don’t know why – one of Spirit’s mysteries!).  They all have different communication styles.  Some show me pictures, some spell out words, some show me words, some speak in symbols – the list goes on.

When I am given only words and pictures, I find myself asking questions to help communicate their message. For example, they may show me an arm with a cast.  I might ask “did you break your arm?” and you may say no, but then we figure out that the loved one communicating broke their arm or they are referring to a friend breaking their arm.

There are times that messages come through and they need to marinate for a bit, or be seen from a different angle to understand.  Or, at times, we are doing some investigation together. Here are a few examples from client readings that will aid in explanation:

1.    A client’s father who had passed was communicating and he wanted her to know that he was around her son. He kept showing me her son’s bedroom and a poster of a car on the wall.  When the client went home, she saw that there was not a poster of a car, but a poster of an athlete’s jersey with the athlete’s name on the back.  His name was “Carr”.  So, her father was smart because had he shown a jersey with writing, etc – it would have been a more complicated message that my brain would have tried to figure out (see first paragraph above).  Instead, he communicated to me via shorthand and the message was easily translated.

 2.    Another client’s brother had passed away in a fire (he was a firefighter). During the reading, he kept showing me a huge gorilla.  The client did not know what this meant.  However, a few days later, she was talking to his wife and told her about the details of the reading.  The wife said that his first firehouse had a gorilla as a mascot and when walking into that place, there was a huge gorilla on the wall.

3.    Most loved ones who have passed tell me first who they are in relationship to the client (e.g. mom, grandma, etc).  Some just start describing their personality or appearance when alive.  Some lead with code words.

I do my best to get out of the way and channel; occasionally I make quick assumptions.  In one instance, a nurturing woman came through and I mentioned it might be the client’s mom.  When I started to describe her in detail, the client said that it sounded more like her grandmother.

 4.    Another time, we had established we were talking to one grandmother and then another grandmother jumped in and eclipsed the conversation (but we had to figure that out – Grandma #2 did not tell us she was interrupting).

In the first two cases, the clients did not get the full picture until after they had left the reading.

For the third and fourth examples, if something similar happens in your session, we rely on your intimate knowledge of your loved ones.  I ask people to be open to things being fluid, as our loved ones are communicating in their particular style and/or capacity that may not make total sense to us.

I present these so that you can be prepared for your reading to unfold in the way it is meant to – I believe this is divine wisdom and timing.

Please note that the majority of info that comes through in a reading gives immediate resonance and peace.

Medium (But Human)

The more I do this work, the more I realize how I truly am just the messenger.  I do my best to put my thinking, analytical brain aside (the part of the brain that wants to figure out everything at once) so that I can be a clear channel.

 But, alas, I am human.

I think it is important for clients to know that I am not omniscient.  I connect to loved ones and guides during a session, but I don’t “read’ you when I am not in session.  I don’t read your mind.  Even when I am connected to guides/loved ones, I do not see all; I only receive what they give me in the way they show it to me and I translate it to the best of my ability.

Communication About Living Friends/Relatives

If I start to describe someone who is currently alive, it does not mean their time is coming to an end. I believe our loved ones and Guides/Higher Power like to reference those in our lives.  At times, the messages are just simply to validate that they are around and at other times, they are bringing up the dynamic between you and the person. Many times, the first people to come up during a session are still alive.

About Predictions

Please note that I am not a fortune teller; I do not predict what will happen in the future.  I believe that Spirit helps us all on our journey, but it is ultimately up to us to take the messages we receive and let them integrate into our free will.

With that said, I often receive messages from Guides/Higher Power about areas of one’s life that will shift and I may get a general sense of timing.

All Messages for Healing, Light and Love

The messages I receive are in love and with the intention of the highest good for the recipient.  I tap into a loving God/Higher Power/Universe and loved ones who only want the best for you (us)!

I do not invite in negative energies.

Many people have told me about psychics who ask them to pay them in order to be “cleared” or have rituals performed on them to make something right or clear a curse.  I will never tell a client that they need to pay for rituals, clearings, etc in order to make more money off of that person.  Fear has no place in this work!
